Terms of service

Terms of service and refund policy

Last updated: 31 July 2026 · Governed by Thai law

These terms are an agreement between Jerroop (“we”) and the event organiser who opens an account and buys the service (“you”). Guests who scan a QR code to find their own photos need no account and pay nothing. What applies to them is in the privacy policy.

In short

1. What the service does

Jerroop finds event photos by face. You upload the photos from your event, we process the faces in them, and guests scan a QR code and take a selfie to find the photos they appear in — with no app to install.

The service is provided as it stands at the time you use it, and we may improve or change features. If a change materially reduces what you have already paid for, we will tell you in advance.

2. Organiser accounts

3. Purchases, prices, and event credits

4. Refund policy

The rule A full refund within 7 days of payment, as long as that credit has not been attached to an event.

How to request one: Email billing@jerroop.com with your account email and the payment date. We reply within 5 business days. Refunds go back to the original payment method, and your bank or card issuer may take a further 5–10 business days.

5. Quotas and how long we keep data

Each plan has its own ceiling for photos, storage, and how long event photos are kept, as shown on the plans page at the time you buy.

6. Your responsibilities towards guests

This is the most important section on the page. Under Thailand’s PDPA you are the data controller for the photos you upload, and we process them on your behalf.

The privacy policy explains what we collect and how long we keep it.

7. What you may not use this for

If we find any of the above, we may suspend the account immediately without a refund, and may have to hand information to the authorities where the law requires it.

8. Availability

We run the service with monitoring, backups, and automated alerts, and we work to keep it up. We do not yet offer a numeric service level agreement.

Planned maintenance is scheduled outside event hours wherever we can. If you have a large event and want dedicated cover on the day, tell us in advance and we will arrange it case by case.

9. Limitation of liability

Our total liability for any claim relating to an event is limited to the fees you paid for that event.

We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost revenue, lost business, or reputational harm, nor for loss caused by photos you did not download before their retention window ended.

None of this limits liability where Thai law does not allow it to be limited.

10. Suspension and termination

11. Changes to these terms, and governing law

We may revise these terms, and we update the date at the top every time. If a revision materially affects your rights we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.

These terms are governed by Thai law, and the Thai courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
